Seven Layer Dip Cups
These 7 layer dip cups look extra fancy but they are super easy to make. It’s a fast and easy seven-layer dip recipe because it’s made with two dip mixes from Watkins. You can whip up this as an appetizer or snack in 10 minutes. Presented in individual serving cups also prevents double-dipping.

Wow, your guests with these classy 7-layer dip cups for your next get together.
Guacamole Ingredients:
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 1 packet Watkins Organic Guacamole Dip Mix
Salsa and Sour Cream Dip Ingredients:
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 packet of Watkins Organic Salsa and Sour Cream Dip Mix
Dip Ingredients:
- 1½ cup refried beans
- Guacamole (above)
- Salsa and Sour Cream Dip (above)
- 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes, diced small
- 1 cup grated 4-cheese Mexican blend
- 1 15-oz. can black olives, drained and chopped small
- large green onion, green parts only, sliced thin
To serve: Tortilla chips
Seven Layer Dip Cups Directions:
- Prepare the guacamole and salsa dip an hour or two before assembling and serving.
- Add the sour cream and salsa and sour cream dip mix to a bowl and stir well to combine. Cover and store in the fridge until you’re ready to assemble the 7 layer dip.
- Slice the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh out with a spoon into a large bowl. Add guacamole dip mix and mash with a fork until thoroughly blended and smooth. Cover tightly and store in the fridge until you’re ready to assemble the dip cups.
- To assemble, add approximately two tablespoons refried beans to the bottom of each cup with a small spoon, followed by a layer of guacamole and the seasoned sour cream (two tablespoons each), in each cup.
- Finish each cup with a layer of chopped tomatoes (roughly 3-4 per cup), followed by one tablespoon finely shredded Mexican cheese blend, 3-4 chopped black olives, and a few green onion slices.
- Garnish each cup with a tortilla chip, if desired, and serve immediately with additional tortilla chips on the side.
